Class Description

A 5-week series focusing on refining the fundamentals of vinyasa yoga. Each week will have a new focus, allowing for a well-rounded overview of alignment, technique, and how to use the breath to deepen your practice. Gain confidence, mobility, balance and strength from practice and repetition. Excellent for beginners, seasoned practitioners and teachers of all levels to learn something new. Come to all 5 classes to best refine your skills or drop in at any time. Week 1 - From the Ground Up - Cultivating balance, strength and stability with standing postures. Week 2 - Twists and Folds - Improve flexibility and spinal health through seated postures Week 3 - Backbending - Exploring spinal extension with safety, strength and ease Week 4 - The Art of Stillness - Restorative and recovery postures to close your practice Week 5 - Moving Breathing Practice - Putting it all together to restore health and balance in the body
