Join this 6 week series that combines yoga philosophy, a fun, creative vinyasa flow and finishes with a seated meditation. Enjoy how yoga stills the mind and prepares the body for this meditative state. For these 6 weeks, we will focus on the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and how they relate to practice on and off the mat. Come each week to expand your understanding of yoga theory or drop in to a class anytime. Week 1 - Understanding Yoga Beyond Asana Week 2 - Balance Between Effort and Surrender Week 3 - Strength and Ease in Asana and Life Week 4 - Moving Beyond the Physical in Practice Week 5 - The Power of Consistency Week 6 - The Essence of Yoga: Returning to the Self Recommended Props: Yoga Mat + 2 Blocks
